TERMS OF USE (SUBSCRIPTION SERVICE)

1. TERMS OF USE

By downloading, browsing, accessing or using this Service Subscription service (“Subscription Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions of Use (“Terms”). We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you must immediately discontinue access to and use of the Subscription Service. Continued use of the Subscription Service constitutes acceptance of these Terms as amended from time to time.

In these Terms, the following capitalised terms shall have the meanings set out below, unless the context otherwise requires:

• “Account” means an account created by a User on the Subscription Service as part of Registration.

• “Privacy Policy” means the privacy policy set out in Clause 14 of these Terms.

• “Register” means to create an Account on the Subscription Service, and “Registration” shall be construed accordingly.

• “Services” means all digital, informational, and subscription-based services provided by UAE Post Limited via the Subscription Service, and “Service” means any one of them.

• “User” or “Users” means any individual who accesses or uses the Subscription Service, including you.

3. GENERAL ISSUES ABOUT THE SUBSCRIPTION SERVICE AND THE SERVICES

3.1 Applicability of Terms

Use of the Subscription Service and the Services is subject at all times to these Terms.

3.2 Location

The Subscription Service and the Services are intended solely for use by Users accessing the Subscription Service within the United Arab Emirates (“UAE”). We make no representation that the Subscription Service or the Services are appropriate or available for use outside the UAE. Access from outside the UAE is at your own initiative and risk.

3.3 Scope of Use

The Subscription Service and the Services are provided for personal, non-commercial use only.

3.4 Prevention of Use

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to restrict, suspend, or terminate your access to the Subscription Service or any part thereof.

3.5 Equipment and Networks

Use of the Subscription Service requires compatible devices, internet connectivity, and telecommunications services, which are not provided by us. You acknowledge that your mobile network or internet provider’s terms apply and that you are solely responsible for any related charges.

3.6 Permission to Use

If you are not the bill payer for the device used to access the Subscription Service, you confirm that you have obtained permission from the bill payer.

3.7 User-Generated Material

By submitting any text, images, or other materials (“Material”) through the Subscription Service, you represent that you own or are authorised to use such Material. You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to use, reproduce, and display such Material in connection with the operation and promotion of the Subscription Service.

4. REGISTRATION AND ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT

4.1 Registration Requirement

You may be required to Register and maintain an active Account to access certain features of the Subscription Service.

4.2 Account Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Account credentials and for all activities carried out under your Account.

5. NOTIFICATIONS AND COMMUNICATIONS

You agree to receive service-related communications, including system notifications, updates, and alerts, through the Subscription Service and associated channels. Where location-based features are enabled, notifications may be tailored accordingly, subject to your device permissions.

6. YOUR OBLIGATIONS

6.1 Accurate Information

You warrant that all information provided during Registration and maintained in your Account is accurate, complete, and up to date.

6.2 Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Subscription Service or Services in any manner that is unlawful, harmful, abusive, defamatory, obscene, misleading, fraudulent, or otherwise objectionable, including but not limited to the activities listed below.

6.3 Prohibited Conduct

Without limitation, you shall not:

• transmit malicious software or harmful code;

• interfere with the security, integrity, or performance of the Subscription Service;

• attempt unauthorised access to systems or data;

• use the Subscription Service for fraudulent or deceptive purposes;

• engage in conduct that restricts or inhibits other Users from using the Subscription Service.

7. AVAILABILITY AND MODIFICATIONS

7.1 Service Availability

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Subscription Service and may suspend or restrict access for maintenance or operational reasons.

7.2 Changes to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Subscription Service or Services at any time without prior notice.

8. SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Subscription Service immediately if you breach these Terms or if we reasonably suspect misuse, fraud, or unlawful activity. Termination shall not affect any accrued rights or obligations.

9. DISCLAIMER AND EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY

9.1 No Warranties

The Subscription Service and Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind.

9.2 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Subscription Service or Services.

9.3 Statutory Rights

Nothing in these Terms affects rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer protection laws.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless UAE Post Limited against any claims, losses, or damages arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Subscription Service.

11. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

All content, trademarks, logos, and materials on the Subscription Service are owned by or licensed to UAE Post Limited and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. No rights are granted except as expressly stated in these Terms.

We may amend these Terms at any time by posting the revised version on the Subscription Service. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms.

13. APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates. The courts of the UAE shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from or related to these Terms.

Use of the Subscription Service is subject to our Privacy Policy. By accessing or using the Subscription Service, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal data in accordance with the Privacy Policy, as amended from time to time.
